Stunning Limited Edition Haslam Arai Helmet…
ALSTARE Suzuki Team rider Leon Haslam will demonstrate his support for England’s football team in South Africa on Sunday when he wears a unique and commemorative Arai helmet especially prepared for South Africa’s sixth round of the World Superbike Championship at Kyalami.
The 19th World Cup Finals gets under way in four weeks, in South Africa, and the carefully-assembled artwork includes Haslams own adaptation of the English nations three lions crest first used in the 1100s by King Henry II and synonymous with King Richard I The Lionheart in the late 1100s.
The St Georges Cross is featured on the rear of the helmet, again a symbol of England and dating back to the Crusades of the 1100s and 1200s, and is captured in the shape of a lion. Haslams 91 logo is present and each side of the helmet has a large, golden lions head. The rear of the helmet also features the shape of the FIFA World Cup Trophy that replaced the Jules Rimet Trophy from 1974 and is painted in the colours of the South African flag. The base of the helmet is a reminder of England’s one and only success in the World Cup with the names of the victorious 1966 team flowing around the helmet.
“I love my football and really wanted to do something to recognise and support England, especially with us having this World Superbike round in South Africa right now, just before the World Cup all gets under way”, said Haslam.
Arai is producing a limited edition of 250 of the Haslam England World Cup helmet on its Chaser model. Each replica will come with a numbered certificate signed by Leon Haslam and presented personally to each customer during the NEC Motorcycle Show in November. Each sale will be accompanied by a complimentary admission pass to the Motorcycle Show and the helmet is available in all sizes, from XS to XXL, and priced at 399.99.

Amazing Knox Hand Armour now available upstairs in Clothing...

The incredible new Knox Hand Armour range is now available at Streetbike...
Featuring a host of patented innovations, including exoskeleton protection, SPS and the exclusive BOA lacing system, Knox Hand Armour looks radically different to existing motorcycle gloves and this British technology has taken glove design to the next level.
Since producing the first back-protector in 1982, Knox has been a leading innovator of impact protection and has continually looked at other areas of the body where they felt they could make a real difference and offer much needed development.
Three years ago Knox turned their attention to hand protection, patenting the SPS (scaphoid protection system), which for the first time gave riders effective protection against common scaphoid injuries to the bone connecting the thumb to the wrist. Realising that glove development in the market was limited and could be improved, Knox spent two years developing new systems for the hand, looking not only at protection but also at rider comfort and fit, which are synonymous with the Knox brand.
Other new Hand armour concepts include honeycomb gel impact protection and wrist guard shrouds. Initially four models of Knox Hand Armour will be available; the full track specification HANDROID, sports-rider orientated BIOMECH, classically-styled RECON and waterproof ZERO.
One of the first buyers of the top of the range Handroid was Streetbikes own marketing man Carl who knows a great piece of technology design when he see's one.
Carl comments "These are without doubt the best pair of gloves I've ever owned and worth every penny. I've always had trouble with gloves digging into my wrists and bunching in my palms in the past and these just don't plus no more numb tingly fingers - real easy to get on and off once you've got the hang of them and, of course, they look incredible"
Streetbike Tops National Suzuki Sales Competition
Sales Manager, Jason Brunt, beat off over 400 entrants nationally and 5 finalists on the day, to emerge as National Sales Executive of the Year. He was followed very closely by Business Manager, Alex Hogg.
The national finals were held near Suzuki’s headquarters in Milton Keynes, where the 5 finalists went head to head in front of a panel of Suzuki judges including national motorcycle sales manager Paul DeLusignan.
All competitors had to perform a customer satisfaction presentation to the panel as well as be subjected to intense grilling on product knowledge and customer handover procedure. Competition was fierce but in the end the two midlands lads emerged victorious...
Jason Brunt “I was delighted and a bit shocked when I came out top. I knew we’d both done pretty well because we run pretty high standards at work day in day out. But to be honest, I thought Alex had won it. It’s great to think we’re the benchmark for the rest of the country.”
Alex Hogg “I was a bit gutted to come second but genuinely delighted that we were the top two. It’s just nice to get recognised for stuff we do everyday. But, to be honest, parts of it were pretty easy because we live, breath and ride Suzuki’s bikes and love 'em.”
